1. Create a new directory on your hard drive called: C:\Emotional
Literacy Education Course 101
2. Put this page in the above directory.
3. Start your browser, and open this file in it.
4. To download a file, click your right mouse button where it says Download.
5. In your browser menu (Explorer), click the Save Target As button.
6. My computer automatically changes the file extension .ra to .ram.
7. If your computer does this, you must change the
file extension back to .ra
before saving, or the file name will be wrong in the
link, and your Real Audio Player will not start.
8. Save the file in the new directory C:\Emotional Literacy Education Course 101
with the .ra file extension.
9. After you have downloaded a file, to start that Real Audio file from your computer,
click the title in the first column. Your computer should automatically recognize the
file, and start the Real Audio Player, because of the file extension.
10. If that does not work, Windows allows you to associate file extensions with starting
programs, and loading the file into the program automatically, when you click on the links
below. This should have automatically been done when you installed your Real Audio player,
but it may not have been done, or a different file extension may have been associated with
your Real Audio or other players. I cannot give you detailed instructions for your
operating system and browser, but there is a way to do it. Consult your operating system
and browser manual. I cannot give you technical advise.
11. If that does not work, you can always access the files by starting your Real Audio
Player, and clicking on File then Open File in your Real
Audio Player menu. The file names are the same as the titles below.
